Into the Bushveld

Set in the quiet savannahs of central Namibia, Omaanda is located just half-an-hours’ drive from Windhoek, within a 22,000-acre private wildlife conservancy. The landscape is typical of region’s bushveld, with open and grassy plains, scattered with acacia trees and shrubs. The conservancy plays an important role in local conservation efforts and is home to a variety of wildlife, including rhino, elephant, and big cats. It is managed in partnership with the N/a’an ku sê Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to wildlife rescue, rehabilitation, and the peaceful coexistence of communities and animals across Namibia.
